Distributed Transfer Unit DTU
The standardized design of distributed transfer unit (distributed DTUs) is carried out along the lines of distributed structure technology. The DTU consists of several interval units and common units. The DTU cooperates with the distribution electronic station and the main station to realize distribution network automation functions such as operation status monitoring, fault identification, fault isolation and power supply restoration in non-fault areas of distribution lines.

- Common unit: cooperating with the interval unit of decentralized DTU, it can realize centralized monitoring and management of multiple interval units, and at the same time, it can remotely transmit the telemetry data, telecommunication data, protection events, wave recording data, operation status, electric energy data and other information of multiple interval units to the main station or human-machine panel, and it can also get the remote control commands from the main station layer to realize the remote control and management function of each interval unit.
- Interval unit: cooperating with ring cabinet switch, it can meet the functions of distribution network automation such as intelligent distributed and conventional protection type, and realize various distribution network automation programs. The unit can realize fault localization, fault removal and restoration of power supply in non-faulty area of distribution line by cooperating with outlet switch and branch switch. It is a distribution automation terminal device integrating telemetry, telecommunication, remote control, remote adjustment, protection and communication functions.

Widely used in applications of centralized monitoring and control of multiple circuits, such as power distribution rooms, ring cabinets or open/close stations.
