Power Quality Governance Construction Solution

Through the intelligent transformation of the distribution substation side and user side, it realizes the collection of basic data such as the operation status of the low-voltage distribution network, the equipment status, the power supply quality status, the action instructions of the terminal equipment, and other auxiliary information, etc. The overall structure of the distribution area is based on HPLC, dual-mode communication, RS-485, 4G/5G, etc. to form the network layer. The communication interface and interaction model are unified to solve the problems of many types and numbers of low-voltage intelligent devices, dispersed installation locations, and inability to centralize control, and to realize extensive interconnection of devices.

Transformer terminal units (TTUs) and intelligent reactive power compensation devices are installed on the transformer side; distributed flexible-DC energy switches are added on the branch side, and intelligent phase-change switches and terminal voltage regulators are deployed on the user side. With the goal of improving the effectiveness and economy of power quality management, based on the edge computing capability and application management algorithms of the TTU, it realizes the optimal allocation of various types of power quality equipment in the distribution network, manages the problems of unstable voltage, low voltage, insufficient reactive power and three-phase imbalance, and improves the overall power quality of the distribution network.
